Hey, guys!
Yes, I'm actually not dead, yet :D . Been kinda busy with work and other crap. Man....it's already been a whole year since the last time I posted a drawing. Sorry about that. But, I've been trying to acquire some new skills lately. And, this is the result from those efforts so far:

What do you guys think? :D
Also, Happy New Year! Let's hope 2018 sucks less than 2017! :D

Okay, so it's been a few months already since I launched my Patreon campain. But, it is NOT going well. Due to various reasons, it's definitely been a rough start. And, with the exception of the awesome smycoo, who became my first patron (I still can't thank her enough about that), I haven't been able to get even a single person to be interested in supporting my campaign. While I'm definitely still nowhere near the level of some of the artists on Patreon, I know for a fact that my skills have been improving lately. So, I don't think that's the reason. Is it the patron rewards and the milestone goals? I'm sure they're not perfect, as, when I was setting up, I merely put down what I, at the time, thought people would like that I'd be able to offer. But, I can't think of anything else that I can give.
As I've said before, my works will always remain free. I'm not nearly cocky enough to even consider putting my drawings behind a pay wall. However, as I am unfortunately unemployed at the moment (I'm looking, trust me), living expenses are a factor. Also, as I mentioned earlier, my tech is slowly, but surely, starting to fail me. I'm sure I've talked about this in the past. But, my dream has always been, as still is, to have a career in the visual arts field. And, I'm still pursuing that dream. Also, I really want to prove to certain people that this type of career choice is NOT a waste of time. But, it's difficult to do that with dying equipment.

In short, I need everyone's help. Can you guys think of anything I can change to make my campaign look more "attractive"? Any and all suggestions are welcome.

So, uhh.....yeah. Not really sure who, but someone decided to give me a 1-month core/premium membership. Now that I think about it, it may be from that thing that DA did recently, using more active users to welcome newbies to the site. Everyone who participated was promised a 1-month core membership. So, that may be what this is. I don't really know. But, either way, it's pretty awesome :D . I mean, this has happened a couple times. And, it's not like I really do anything with it ^^; . But, hey, at least I won't have any ads for a whole month. Woo! Woohooooo! :lmao:

And, on an unrelated note, as of last night (March 15th) I have a running Patreon campaign. You can check it out here!
Unlike what I've been doing until now, being lazy and only doing a few pics a year (which really bugged me, too, to be honest), I plan on really stepping up my game from now on. I really want to improve a lot more so I can be up there with all the other amazing artists we see both here on deviantART and on Patreon. But, because of having to look for a job all the time (yes, I'm currently unemployed again, since last year's job was seasonal) I don't really have that much time. Don't get me wrong, though. My art will always remain free, as it has been until now. I will continue posting here. But, my patrons will simply get more stuff than the general public has access to.

Well, that's it, I think. Hope you guys consider becoming patrons :) . And, if you do, thank you for your support! :D

Happy New Year!

Well, there goes another year. Not as eventful for me as I would've liked. But, hopefully 2016 will change that.
Happy New Year to everyone!

Oh my god! What the hell have I been doing until now?! I've been drawing in Adobe Photoshop about 8 years now. And I only now find out how much of its capabilities I have NOT been using. I've always seen those settings, of course. But, I never really knew what they do. So, I just stuck to what I do know. A perfect example are tool modes. It's pathetic that I'm only now discovering how the Gradient tool with the right mode can EASILY change the drawing's color pallete to fit the background you're giving the pic. I have so much experimenting to do now. And, there is just so much more I'm sure I haven't figured out, yet. For having worked with Photoshop for so many years, I am SUCH a noob.
And, of course, I just happen to find out right as I'm about to start a new job in a few days which will more then likely leave me with little to no time to draw, at all. Like, seriously. It's only a seasonal job, But, if they actually decide to keep me after the training, I'll be working 15 hours per day, 5 days a week.
